Why use WerninBill on WooCommerce
- Cards without a merchant account. Card transactions are handled by licensed on-ramp providers such as Coinbase, Banxa and Binance. You don’t need your own card processing account.
- No card data on your server. Customers are redirected to the hosted checkout at
checkout.wernin.site, so card details never touch your WordPress install and your store stays out of PCI DSS scope. - Instant payouts to your own wallet. Funds are forwarded to your self-custodial wallet as soon as the payment is confirmed. WerninBill never holds your funds.

Requirements
- WordPress 5.8 or newer, PHP 7.2 or newer
- WooCommerce installed and active
- A self-custodial EVM wallet (for example MetaMask or Rabby) to receive payouts. Do not use an exchange deposit address.
How to install the WerninBill WooCommerce plugin
- Download the plugin ZIP using the button above.
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP and click Install Now.
- Activate WerninBill Payment Gateway.
- Open WooCommerce → Settings → Payments and enable the WerninBill gateway.
- Enter your self-custodial payout wallet address and configure the hosted checkout settings.
- Save, then place a small test order before accepting live payments.
That’s it — there is no WerninBill account to create and no manual pre-approval to wait for.
What your customers see
At checkout, customers select WerninBill and are redirected to the hosted payment page. There they can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through an available provider. Customers don’t need a crypto wallet or any knowledge of crypto. After payment they return to your store and the order is updated automatically.
Fees
WerninBill charges a flat 1% platform fee per successful transaction. The payment provider that processes the card may charge its own fee, which varies by provider, country, currency and amount. There is no setup, activation or monthly fee from WerninBill. See pricing for details.

Which currency do I receive?
You receive crypto, typically USDC on Polygon, to the wallet address you enter in the plugin settings.
Are all payment methods available in every country?
No. Provider availability depends on the customer’s country, currency, transaction amount and each provider’s requirements. Providers may apply their own verification for some transactions.
Which businesses can use it?
WerninBill is intended for lawful businesses. Scams and fake shops, adult content, gambling, alcohol and drugs, and other criminal activity are prohibited — see compliance.
