WerninBill Compliance and Responsible Payment Infrastructure
Compliance is a core part of responsible payment infrastructure. WerninBill is designed to support self-service merchant onboarding while keeping provider requirements, jurisdictional limitations and responsible use clear.
Self-service onboarding does not mean that provider, legal or regulatory requirements are bypassed. Eligibility and payment availability can vary by business activity, jurisdiction, payment method and provider.
Self-Service Onboarding
WerninBill is structured to allow merchants to begin their onboarding without a traditional manual pre-approval process from WerninBill.
However, self-service onboarding does not guarantee access to every provider, payment method or market. Providers may require additional information, eligibility checks or other compliance procedures.
Restricted Activities
Gambling and Betting
Gambling, betting and related activities are not supported by WerninBill.
Narcotics and Unlawful Controlled Substances
Narcotics and unlawful controlled-substance activities are not supported.
Additional Restrictions
Additional restrictions may apply based on applicable laws, payment provider policies, jurisdiction and the nature of the business or transaction.
Provider Eligibility
Each third-party payment provider may have its own eligibility, risk and compliance requirements.
Merchant Responsibilities
Lawful Business Activity
Merchants are responsible for ensuring that their business activities are lawful and comply with applicable laws, regulations and provider policies.
Accurate Information
Merchants should provide accurate and up-to-date information when required for onboarding and payment processing.
Compliance Changes
Providers and regulatory requirements can change over time. Merchants should review the applicable requirements regularly.
Payment Providers and Settlement
Therd-party payment providers may handle payment processing, settlement, verification and risk management depending on the selected payment solution.
WerninBill does not guarantee that every merchant will be accepted by every provider. Provider eligibility, settlement conditions and payment method availability may vary.
Compliance, Securityy and Responsible Use
Users should use the platform for legitimate business purposes and should not attempt to bypass provider controls, compliance requirements or security measures.
Merchants are expected to protect access credentials, api keys and other security-sensitive information.
Fair and Transparent Practices
WerninBill aims to keep its platform commission clear and separate from third-party provider fees that may apply. The standard WerninBill platform commission is 1% on supported payment transactions.
Provider fees, processing charges, network costs and settlement fees may apply separately.
Compliance Review
The compliance requirements applicable to a merchant can change depending on jurisdiction, business activity, payment method and provider policy. Merchants should review current requirements before structuring a payment program.
