WerninBill hosted payment gateway integration for eligible WooCommerce merchants.

== Description ==

WerninBill Payment Gateway provides WooCommerce merchants with a hosted,
multi-provider payment integration.

The gateway connects WooCommerce stores to the WerninBill payment infrastructure
and redirects customers to the WerninBill hosted checkout.

Features include:

* Hosted multi-provider checkout
* WooCommerce integration
* Multiple payment providers
* Automatic temporary payment address generation
* Payment callback and order status handling
* Self-custodial payout wallet support
* No iframe-based payment processing

Payment provider availability may vary according to country, currency,
transaction amount and provider requirements.

== WerninBill Fees ==

WerninBill platform fee: 1% per successful transaction.

Payment provider fees may apply separately and vary according to the selected
provider, country, currency and transaction.

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate WooCommerce.
2. Upload and install the WerninBill Payment Gateway plugin.
3. Activate the WerninBill payment gateway.
4. Open WooCommerce payment settings.
5. Enter your eligible self-custodial payout wallet.
6. Configure the hosted checkout settings.
7. Save the settings.
8. Complete a test checkout before accepting live payments.

== Wallet Requirements ==

Merchants must provide an eligible self-custodial EVM wallet for payout.

Do not use exchange deposit addresses, custodial deposit wallets or addresses
that the merchant does not control.

Never share a wallet seed phrase or private key with WerninBill.

== Payment Processing ==

Customers are redirected to the WerninBill hosted checkout.

Payment processing, provider-specific verification, fraud controls, settlement
and other provider requirements are handled by the relevant third-party
payment provider.

Provider availability and requirements may change.

== Compliance ==

WerninBill is intended for lawful businesses and eligible merchants.

The following categories are prohibited:

* Adult or pornographic businesses
* Gambling, betting and casino businesses
* Narcotics or illegal drug businesses
* Illegal goods or services
* Fraudulent or deceptive activities

Payment providers may apply additional restrictions, verification,
AML, sanctions, fraud-prevention and compliance requirements.

Merchants remain responsible for complying with applicable laws and regulations.
